Meet the optionsdesk team

James has over 30 years of experience at CEO, MD and Board level with focus on establishing, building and managing businesses for major international firms including the London Metal Exchange, JPMorgan, UBS, ED&F Man Group and John Swire & Sons. He has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Singapore and New Zealand, and has a degree in Chinese and Economics from London University’s School of Oriental and African Studies.

Paul is a Chartered Accountant who has been in the Metals (LME) futures trading business since 2000 in a variety of Finance and Business Management roles. He has been Finance Director of AMT Futures Ltd and Amalgamated Metal Trading Ltd since joining the AMC Group in January 2015. After 9 years as an auditor at KPMG Paul has held a number of finance and regulatory roles at Bankers Trust, Credit Suisse, Sempra and most recently JP Morgan.

Andy has been trading futures and options in the City for over 30 years. He joined AMT Futures in 2017 from Berkeley Futures, prior to which he held senior positions at Hartmann Capital, FXCM Securities and Man Financial. Andy has worked closely with Ian Thurgood and Andrew Moreno for over 10 years, and the team are now focused on using digital channels to greatly expand their clients’ understanding of how best to harness the power of options.

Andrew started his career at Singer & Friedlander before specialising in UK, US and European equities and derivatives at options specialists including Options Direct Ltd, FXCM, Hartmann and Berkeley Futures. Andrew’s focus is to grow our digital footprint, and he is the driving force behind our OptionsDesk.com initiative.

George has held senior sales trading positions at Citi, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan and UBS; and will focus this experience on providing financial institutions with coverage across all major asset classes and exchange traded instruments including cash equities, equity derivatives, fixed income and commodity futures and options.

Matt is a seasoned global derivatives proprietary trader and broker, including 15 years at JPMorgan, where his role included Head of EMEA Execution.

Sebastian read Chemistry at University College London, graduating in 2021. He is an FCA registered client dealer with a background in foreign exchange hedging for multi-national businesses and is passionate about capital markets and commodities.

Donald is an experienced desk broker specialising in execution of global cash equities, ETFs, listed derivatives, FX and government bonds. Prior to joining the firm, he held roles including Multi-Asset Sales Trader at Société Générale and Manager of Sales & Trading at Prism Global Group.

Dmitry holds an MSc in Finance and is fluent in both Russian and French. He brings extensive experience in global derivatives markets. Prior to joining AMT Futures Limited, Dmitry held several positions at BNP Paribas and was a senior cross-commodity broker at Freight Investor Services.

Rochelle has been with AMC Group for over 20 years, starting in the accounts department of our sister company Amalgamet. She joined AMT Futures in 2018, where her customer-driven approach and attention to detail made her the natural choice to set up our client services team. Rochelle is key in supporting our retail and institutional clients alike, and strives to make sure all receive the highest level of service.
